This is a true “Gregor song,” in that it was largely written for me, without any thought given to sharing it someday.
It was written the week we found out that we couldn’t have children, which was a big blow to us. I don’t usually make songs so specific to me or us, but this one sort of flowed out of me that week. It’s nice to have a good version of it.
I usually put the most emotional songs in the final song slot, and this will go there.
